Course Overview

The MBA course is designed to synthesise the development of graduates’ skills and knowledge of contemporary business management practices. The prime focus is on the application of those skills and the ability for graduates to tailor their studies through a variety of electives. The structure ensures that graduates are prepared for middle and senior management roles in a broad range of industries. The masters course deepens the knowledge and skills acquired through the core units plus the flexibility for students to select 2 units of particular interest. Within the core, the capstone Applied Business Project ensures that competence in the application of skills and knowledge is demonstrated to current and/or prospective employers.

Masters Degrees (AQF Level 9)
  • Applicants must have successfully completed a Bachelor Degree or higher awarded by a recognised university or higher education institution, in any discipline.
  • Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements for the Masters Degrees and who successfully complete a Graduate Certificate/Graduate Diploma will be eligible to progress to a Masters Degree

All applicants from a non-English speaking background applying to any postgraduate course at APIC must satisfy the following additional English language requirements:

IELTS Academic: overall band score of 6.5 or higher, with a minimum score of 6.0 in writing and speaking; OR

IBT (Internet-based TOEFL): overall score of 79 with a writing section minimum of 21 and speaking 18; OR

Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): Overall score 180, writing and speaking 180;OR

Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): Overall 176 with a writing and speaking minimum score of 169; OR

PTE Academic Module with a minimum score of 58 with a writing and speaking section minimum of 50.
