Course Overview

The Master of Business Administration focuses on leadership and change, innovation and entrepreneurship, finance, ethical practices and social responsibility. It equips students with the capacity to start new ventures or initiate organisational improvements successfully by building on authentic learning experiences and solutions-driven business scenarios.
It provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain holistic management and business knowledge which prepares them for general management roles. The course design also allows the choice of electives to complete a related business specialisation such as supply chain management, project management and human resource management.
Through the partnership with the Institute of Managers and Leaders, opportunities exist to participate in industry workshops, business case studies, mentoring, and personalised professional development.

Course Structure

The Master of Business Administration forms the final stage in a three-stage nested suite of programs consisting of:

  • Graduate Certificate of Business Administration 
  • Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (GD-BUSADM4)^
  • Master of Business Administration (MA-BUSADM5)

To qualify for the award of Master of Business Administration students must complete 16 (or equivalent) units (200 credit points) comprising:

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Applicants are required to have completed one of the following:
  • a bachelor degree (or higher award) in any discipline from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; or
  • the Postgraduate Qualifying Program (available to International applicants only).
Applicants who have additional qualifications are eligible to enter the program with Advanced Standing and may be able to complete the program in less than two years.
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0 or equivalent qualification. 
TOEFL-IBT Score (Minimum) 79
(no less than 13 in reading, 12 in listening, 18 in speaking 21 in writing)
PTE Score (Minimum) 58
(no communicative skill less than 50)
