Course Overview

Our English and Professional Sports program is CRICOS registered and enables students to enter Australia on a student visa to study English for 17 hours only per week with the additional 3-6 hours being in the chosen field of sport taught by a professional.

English and sport are very popular with students who may not wish to pursue formal education but want to become sports professionals. Live a healthy life with plenty of fresh pollution-free air and enjoy the Australian lifestyle. Perhaps you would like to live with an Australian homestay family where you can practice your English conversation. We can try and find a host family who is involved in the same sport but, of course, we cannot guarantee this.

Study English English on the Gold Coast of Australia and while you are learning to speak English you can find your own professional sporting coach in which ever sport you choose as part of your English course.

Course Structure

while you are learning to speak English you can find your own professional sporting coach in which ever sport you choose as part of your English course. We will assist you to find the coach if you prefer. In all cases the professional must be a member of the relevant professional sporting association. For example

  • golf: PGA Australia
  • tennis: Tennis Australia
  • swimming: Swimming Australia
  • surfing: Surfing Australia

Since the Commonwealth Games held on the Gold Coast in April 2018 the Coast has had up to date sporting facilities for students wishing to study English and Sport. The 2032 Olympic Games will be held in Brisbane and Gold Coast will participate. Our sporting facilities will be continually updated in preparation for the Games.
