Course Overview
Cyber security is the practice of protecting sensitive data and information through security architecture and developing disaster recovery and contingency plans. Database and data management is the process of creating, designing, and monitoring systems that store data and optimise organisational knowledge management. Systems administration is the field of work in which someone reviewing maintenance procedures and support to help troubleshoot system applications.
This course is designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to:
- Verify and clarify client requirements and needs in regard to protecting sensitive data and information
- Build a range of disaster recovery and contingency plans
- Build databases to support web-based programs
- Apply IP, ethics, and privacy in ICT environments
- Review and support maintenance procedures for system applications
- Integrate e-business and e-commerce solutions into databases
