Course Overview

This course reflects the role of individuals working in a variety of roles within the human resources sector. The job roles that relate to this qualification may include Human Resources Consultant, Human Resources Advisor and Human Resources Business Partner.
Responsibilities are likely to be determined at a workplace level. Some smaller organisations may require employees to work across all aspects of human resources. In larger organisations, individuals may coordinate a single human resources function.

Course Structure

The BSB50320 Diploma of Human Resource Management requires the successful completion of seven (7) core units and five (5) elective units. Electives for this qualification have been chosen by NVR Education to ensure that students achieve a broad range of skills and knowledge in marketing and communication.

Academic Entry Requirements
  • Have successfully completed High School or hold other relevant qualification
AND
  • Have completed the following units (or equivalent competencies): BSBHRM411 Administer performance development processes; BSBHRM412 Support employee and industrial relations; BSBHRM415 Coordinate recruitment and onboarding; and BSBHRM417 Support human resource functions and processes.

Have an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old), or an Australian qualification equivalent to a minimum of Certificate IV level (or a substantial component towards a Certificate IV level), or have successfully passed NVR’s English Placement Test.
