Course Overview

The SIT50416 Diploma of Hospitality Management qualification allows a successful graduate of hospitality training to be competent as a manager in any functional hospitality area. This course enables an individual to possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their work and the work of their team.

Academic Entry Requirements
Satisfactorily completed a minimum of Year 12 or equivalent and or relevant industry / vocational
experience.
- Currently employed or would like to work within the hospitality industry
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) (a) Overall band score 5.5; or
(b) Overall band score 5 if packaged with at
least 10 weeks’ ELICOS; or
(c) Overall band score of 4.5 if packaged
with at least 20 weeks’ ELICOS.  
TOEFL-IBT Score (Minimum) (a) 46; or
(b) 35, if packaged with at least 10 weeks’
ELICOS ; or
(c) 32, if packaged with at least 20 weeks’
ELICOS
PTE Score (Minimum) (a) 42; or
