Diploma of Business
Course Overview
This qualification would apply to individuals with various job titles including executive officers, program consultants and program coordinators. Individuals in these roles may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions. Conversely, it may also apply to those with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.

The following 12 units of competency must be completed to achieve the qualification:

- BSBFIN501 Manage budget and financial plans
- BSBOPS501 Manage business resources
- BSBSUS511 Develop workplace policies and procedures for sustainability
Elective Units:
- BSBTWK502 Manage team effectiveness
- BSBPMG430 Undertake project work
- BSBOPS601 Develop and implement business plans
- BSBPEF501 Manage personal and professional development
- BSBLDR523 Lead and manage effective workplace relationships
- BSBOPS504 Manage business risk
- BSBTWK503 Manage meetings
Entry Requirement

| Academic Entry Requirements | Successful completion of Certificate IV qualification or higher. Individuals may enter this qualification upon completing Certificate IV in Business qualification.

| Minimum Age to Apply | Minimum 18 years of age at the time of commencement. |

| IELTS Score (Minimum) | Minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or PTE score of 42 or its equivalent. |
