Graduates in this course will have developed post-trade skills and knowledge across a broad coverage of the industry prior to undertaking higher roles in the industry.
They will have learnt how to control small horticultural projects, improve soils, manage equipment and machinery, implement pest management and chemical use strategies, manage water systems and horticultural production, recruit and induct staff and maintain work and health and safety.
The qualification AHC40416 Certificate IV in Horticulture contains 12 units that must be undertaken in a 52 week period and satisfactorily completed by all students to successfully complete the course.
