Course Overview

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform advanced diagnostic tasks in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.

The course is targetted to domestic and international students who wish to undertake this course in order to access employment as an Automotive Master Technician or an Automotive Diagnostic Technician as well as those with substantial experience gained through employment but who lack a formal qualification.

Admission Requirements
Minimum Age to Apply  Students must be 18 years or older
Academic Entry Requirements

Students must have completed Year 12.

Those undertaking the AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis must have completed an automotive mechanical Certificate III qualification, or be able to demonstrate equivalent competency prior to enrolling in this course.

Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) Students are also required to have an English ability at the IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
