Course Overview
The Certificate III in Nail Technology enables students to learn all aspects of artificial nails and manicure and pedicure techniques as well applying nail art. The certificate enables students to work in beauty or hairdressing salon as nail technicians, or alternatively freelancing for themselves in their own business. The course covers all aspects of nail technology, including sculptured nails, extension tips, overlays, French acrylic application, gel nails, providing manicure and pedicure services and applying nail art. The practical component of the course is undertaken at the school, full time with theory lessons completed externally. Students may be required to bring in models to apply artificial nails on during the course and for their final practical assessment.
