Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Students must have successfully completed Year 10 or equivalent. 
Minimum Age to Apply Sheffield requires that all students must be 18 years of age or above at the commencement of the course.

Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum)

Must have an IELTS overall band of 5.5 or equivalent. 

Those who do not meet the minimum IELTS requirement will be referred to an accredited English Language Training provider to undertake an English Language course prior to commencing this qualification.

The successful completion of this course prepares you as a new employee or recognizes and develops your skills as an existing employee to perform mechanical work in the automotive light vehicle service and repair industry. Internship or Work Placements

Students must undertake 384 hours of supervised field placement as part of the course which is excellent to further improve their practical job skills. Sheffield organises the work placement and is on a non-paid basis.
