2. CHCECE030 Support inclusion and diversity 

3. CHCECE031 Support children’s health, safety and wellbeing 

4. CHCECE032 Nurture babies & toddlers 

5. CHCECE033 Develop positive and respectful relationships 

6. CHCECE034 Use an approved framework to guide practice 

7. CHCECE035 Support the holistic learning and development of children 

8. CHCECE036 Provide experiences to support children’s play and learning 

9. CHCECE037 Support children to connect with the natural environment 

10. CHCECE038 Observe children to inform practice 

11. CHCECE054 Encourage understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people’s cultures 

12. CHCECE055 Meet legal and ethical obligations in children’s education and care 

13. CHCECE056 Work effectively in children’s education and care

15. HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements A minimum of an Australian High School Certificate or have graduated from high school in your country.
Minimum Age to Apply Students must be at least 18 years if age at the time on enrollment. 
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) Bedford College requires a current minimum IELTS test score of 5.5 or equivalent.

Internship or Work Placements

Certificate III students have a minimum of 160 mandatory practicum placement hours. Early Childhood Education and Care students will undertake their practicum placements in a registered Child Care Centre.
