Course Overview

This qualification describes the skills and knowledge for general job roles in agriculture including livestock production, cropping or in the case of mixed farming workplaces, both cropping and livestock.

Individuals with this qualification perform tasks under broad supervision involving a broad range of skills that are applied in a wide variety of contexts, which will involve discretion and judgement in selecting and operating equipment, coordinating resources and applying contingency measures during work.

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Minimum Age to Apply 16+
Academic Entry Requirements Completion of equivalent to certificate II or higher, Year 10 equivalent completed, or currently employed in the Agriculture Industry, with at least 12 months equivalent employment or a genuine interest in commencing a career in agriculture.
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) All students must complete a Language Literacy & Numeracy Assessment, assessed by the Language Studies Department.
