This qualification reflects the role of senior managers with advanced operational skills who use a broad range of travel or tourism skills, combined with specialised managerial skills and substantial knowledge of industry operations, to coordinate travel or tourism operations. They operate with significant autonomy and are responsible for making strategic business management and operational decisions.

This qualification provides a pathway to work in many travel and tourism industry sectors and for a diverse range of employers including travel agencies, tour wholesalers, tour operators, inbound tour operators, tourist attractions, visitor information centres, and other tourism businesses.

THIS TRAVEL AND TOURISM QUALIFICATION IS DESIGNED FOR:
Individuals who highly skilled senior managers using a broad range of industry skills combined with specialised managerial skills and substantial knowledge of industry to coordinate travel and tourism operations.
Individuals who would like to learn to operate with significant autonomy and are be responsible for making strategic business management decisions
Individuals who need the knowledge and skills required to work as a skilled operator using a broad range of industry skills combined with sound knowledge of industry operations.
Individuals who would like to learn to operate independently or with limited guidance from others and use discretion to solve non-routine problems
Also have some supervisory responsibilities and need to plan, monitor and evaluate the work of team members.

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Minimum Age to Apply Be 18 years of age or over.
Academic Entry Requirements Have completed Year 12 or its equivalent with suitable English language skills
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) International Students are also required to have an English ability at the IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
