Course Overview

The Advanced Diploma of Program Management will equip you with the advanced skills required to direct, plan and lead a range of program functions. You’ll also discover how to work effectively with stakeholders and establish and implement governance requirements to ensure effective program management. Our industry-experienced teachers will help you develop a deeper understanding of the nature of program management methodology, and provide you with the ability to adapt to different working environments.

Program management is a skill that enables you to operate at a higher level, as it incorporates so many of the key aspects of teamwork and leadership. Being able to effectively organise and carry out high-level projects and holding qualifications in this area can help you advance your career, to the point that many organisations consider project management to be CEO training.


Course Structure

The Advanced Diploma of Project Management is completed over 62 week period, and includes 12 units of competency, made up of 6 core units and 6 elective units. The assessments will be in the form of assignments, projects, presentations and case studies and students will develop skills such as:

  • Use initiative and judgement to direct, plan, and lead a range of program functions
  • Use cognitive and communication skills to analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources
  • Effectively express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems

Completion of BSB50820, BSB51415, equivalent version 

OR

2 years of relevant full-time work experience. 

Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) IELTS overall score of 5.5 with a minimum 5.0 in writing or evidence of upper intermediate English level.
