Course Overview

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and communications technology (ICT) roles who have significant experience in specialist technical skills, or managerial business and people management skills. Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, leading a team or a strategic direction of a business. They apply their skills across a wide range of industries and business functions, or as a business owner (sole trader/contractor).

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Minimum Age to Apply SHIC requires that all students must be 18 years of age or above at the commencement of the course.

Academic Entry Requirements
  • Students must have successfully completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions) 
OR
  • Have two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) All students entering this qualification must have the following minimum IELTS overall band of 5.5 or equivalent.
